Draft. The parts in [brackets] are still to be filled in, and the whole of it is still to be read by a lawyer.
This is what nodConsole keeps about you, where, and why. The short of it: what your team shares is on our server; what is only yours to run things with stays on your Mac.
On our server
- Your account: your name, email address, and your password (stored only as a hash we can't read back). If you sign in with Google or Apple, the account id they give us.
- Your teams: their names, who is in them and in what role, and invitations.
- What the team works on: projects (name, key, repository address), tasks, their descriptions, comments and pictures, and the team's messages.
- Workflows and runs: the workflows you draw, their schedules, and a record of each run — when it ran, how it went, and what each step said at the end.
- Sign-in sessions: which devices are signed in, until they sign out or expire.
- Feedback you send from the app: what you wrote, a picture of the nodConsole window at that moment unless you leave it out, and what the app adds so we can find the problem — the page you were on, the versions of nodConsole, macOS and your agents, and the last errors the app met. The picture shows whatever that window showed, so look at it before you send. Write to info@nodconsole.com to have a report deleted.
We keep this to run nodConsole and for nothing else. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
If you asked to hear when nodConsole is out
The form on nodconsole.cloud keeps your email address, the language the page was in, and when you asked — nothing else, not your IP address or browser. We use it for one thing: to write to you when nodConsole can be downloaded. We keep it until then, and delete the list once that mail has gone out. To be taken off before that, write to info@nodconsole.com.
Only on your Mac
- Where your projects are on disk, and the copies a run works in.
- Your chats with the agents on your Mac.
- The keys you give nodConsole — for GitHub, for APIs, for connected services — in your Mac's Keychain.
These never go to our server — except what is in the picture of the window, when you send feedback with one.
Others who see some of it
- The agents and APIs you use receive what they are given to work on, from your Mac, under their makers' own privacy policies.
- GitHub and other services you connect see what is done as your account there.
- Our mail provider [name] sends our mails: codes, password resets, invitations.
- Our hosting provider [name] runs the server, in [region].
- Google and Apple, if you sign in with them.
How long
As long as your account and your teams exist. Deleting something removes it from the server straight away; our nightly backups keep a copy for seven days after that. An account started but never proved with its code is deleted when someone signs up with that address again.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we keep about you, to correct it, or to delete it, at info@nodconsole.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or KVKK, and can complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
When this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or by mail.
