nodConsole

Terms of Service

Last updated 23 September 2026

Draft. The parts in [brackets] are still to be filled in, and the whole of it is still to be read by a lawyer.

These terms are between you and [company name] ("we"), who make nodConsole: the Mac app and the service it signs in to. Using nodConsole means you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you agree for that company too.

Your account

You sign up with an email address and a password, or with Google or Apple. We send a code to prove the address is yours. Keep your password to yourself; what is done with your account is done by you. Tell us at [contact email] if you think someone else is using it.

Teams

Everything in nodConsole belongs to a team. The team's owners and admins decide who is in it, what its projects are, and who can see each one. When you put something in a team — a task, a comment, a picture, a message — the people in that team can see it.

What is yours

What you and your team write and upload stays yours. You let us keep it, copy it and show it to the people it is meant for, only so that nodConsole works. When you delete it, or the team, it goes (see the Privacy Policy for how long copies last).

Agents on your Mac

nodConsole starts coding agents and APIs that you have installed or added yourself — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others — on your own Mac, signed in as you with their makers. They read and change files in the folders you give them, and run commands there. What they send to their makers, and what those makers do with it, is between you and them under their own terms.

You decide what an agent may do, and you are responsible for what it does: read what it changed before you keep it, push it, or merge it. Agents make mistakes. Don't point them at anything you can't afford to have changed, and keep backups of what matters.

GitHub and other accounts

If you connect a GitHub account, or another service, nodConsole acts as that account on your Mac: it clones, pushes, and opens pull requests as you. Its key stays in your Mac's Keychain. Those services' own terms apply to what is done there.

Using it fairly

If you do, we may stop your account.

The service

We work to keep nodConsole running and your things safe, but we can't promise it will never be down or never lose anything. It comes as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses — lost work, lost profit, changes an agent made — and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the thing happened, or [amount] if you paid nothing.

Ending

You can stop using nodConsole whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account at [contact email]. We may end or suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why when we can.

Changes

When these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or by mail before the change takes effect. Using nodConsole after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [country], and disputes go to the courts of [city], unless the law where you live says otherwise.
